Hello there.
I have decided to write a blog for the discerning and slightly older gamer. Having turned thirty this year I worried that perhaps I should be winding down my gaming 'career'. However, as George Bernard Shaw said: "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing". So, with this in mind i recently recieved a Playstation 3 for my birthday, to match the PSP I already owned. While i may seem something of a slave to Sony i am also greatly interested in all consoles and aspects of videogaming and much prefer multi format magazines and information such as EDGE and gamespot.com.
The content of this blog will range haphazardly over an array of subjects, but should fall into two main categories. Firstly, I will review games that I play and hardware that i have access too. Secondly, i will present discussions on issues within the gaming industry, for example: 'is there too much violence in videogames?' The final point to make in my first post is that there are no guarentees how often i will be posting. I have a life long love of videogames, from the tapes of yore to the shininess of today and want to express this online as often as possible.
